Il film, ottavo del DC Extended Universe, è basato sul gruppo Birds of Prey dell’Universo DC, è distribuito nei cinema italiani il 7 febbraio 2020.

Birds of Prey: The Album è disponibile in digitale, streaming e CD su Amazon e in digitale su iTunes a partire dal 7 febbraio 2020.
Il 10 gennaio 2020 è stato pubblicato il primo singolo dell’album dal titolo Diamonds, di Megan Thee Stallion e Normani, il brano è stato accompagnato da un video musicale ispirato a Harley Quinn. Il secondo singolo, Joke’s On You di Charlotte Lawrence, è stato rilasciato il 17 gennaio. Il terzo singolo, Boss Bitch di Doja Cat, è stato rilasciato il 24 gennaio con relativo video musicale. E infine l’ultimo singolo è Sway with Me di Saweetie e Galxara, con un video musicale con Ella Jay Basco che riprende il ruolo di Cassandra Cain del film pubblicato il 31 gennaio.
